Screen South is working with the BBC Arts and Arts Council England to deliver the New Creatives commission opportunity for South East regional talent as part of a new national programme.
We are currently looking to commission Audio pieces, with particularly interested in works that represent creative storytelling in its broadest sense. We want stylistic innovation – for you to push boundaries and to create works that can surprise listeners with their inventiveness and ingenuity. We’re interested in works ranging from the very short, micro-storytelling of one minute, to audio pieces of up to 15mins. Works can be episodic stories, sound-scapes, audio storytelling and can include spoken word, performance, drama, music and sound design and any or all combinations that convey the idea in the best way. We’re also looking for stories that can reflect experiences and places so that we can build a rich and diverse portfolio of audio works.
These audio pieces may be single artist driven or collaborations – lead creatives must be aged between16-30 but you can work with other age groups to deliver your project. Find out all the information and how to apply below:
