Developing & Pitching documentaries

Do you have a great idea for a documentary but do not know where to start? This one day course offers a hands-on guide to getting your idea off the ground, will show you how to develop your idea into a film and suggest possible sources of funding and potential broadcasters. The one day workshop, scheduled for 21st October, will be run by filmmaker and writer, Edi Smockum. She was a producer for theBBC Documentaries Department working on series from Timewatch to VideoDiaries. She has acted as a consultant on the award-winning PBSseries: Right Here, Right Now as well as Prison Weekly. For full details and to book visit www.ofvm.org
