Skills Assistant Film London
Fixed term to 31st March 2009
Salary range: £16,000 to £25,000 in accordance to skills, qualifications and experience.
The Skills Assistant will be responsible for providing full administrative support to ensure the smooth running of all skills, training and company development activity managed by the Skills department. In addition, the Assistant will be responsible for supporting the development and management of Film London’s Lottery grants management database, financial and central filing systems. The post holder will report to the Skills Project Manager, who in turn reports to the Head of Skills and Development.

South East Dance is an award-wining national dance agency. They are looking to recruit a professional eager to work in a flexible, dynamic arts environment where imagination and creativity are valued. You will coordinate the delivery of our successful screen dance programme and be a pro-active administrator with strong project management skills and some technical knowledge. You will support the commissioning of new work, manage an international screen dance festival; attend festivals and networking events, run meetings with artists and distribute South East Dance films and programmes worldwide.

The Media Arts Programme consists of several strands, including the media arts commissioning programme, which supports the development of new work by artists and artist groups for exhibition at Lighthouse, and our professional development programme, which includes Digiville a series of events including screenings, performances, workshops and events by well-known and less-established artists.
