SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL is the first and only international competitive festival created to encourage and contribute to the development of Digital Cinema and to cultivate filmmakers. In the last six years, they shared marvelous talents with audiences such as two-time BAFTA-nominee Lone Scherfig (AN EDUCATION); Cannes award-winner Nuri Bilge Ceylan (CLIMATES) and many more. FINAL FILM SUBMISSION DEADLINE: MARCH 1st, 2010 (date of receipt by festival)

PROGRAMS: International Feature-Length Competition

COMPETITION PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY: Digital Feature Films (over 70 min.)
- Directed by filmmakers with less than 3 previous feature directorial credits
(If the submitted film is a director's fourth feature, he or she is not qualified for the competition.)
- Production completed after January 1st 2009
- The films shot, edited, and shown digitally

AWARDS: Approx. $100,000 (tentative, based on previous years)
