RIFE Production and Development Activity
RIFE Production and Development Funding is available through the following awards. Selection is detailed and rigorous by experienced professionals eager to promote imagination, creativity and viability:
1. LARGE AWARDS
Bi Annual Awards for Individual Writer, Producer and Directors (up to £5,000) and Companies (up to £10,000) for Feature (Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Digital) Film Development, Pre-Production, Production, Post Production and Distribution and Marketing support.
2. INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL ATTENDANCE AWARDS
Awards for Producers and Directors to attend International Festivals (up to £350) - this fund has a rolling deadline.
3. SCRIPT ASSESSMENT AWARDS
Awards for Producers, Writers, Directors and Companies to apply for a Script Assessment (up to £55) - this fund has a rolling deadline.
4. SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT AWARDS
These awards are to support feature film writing and include Screen South Script Workshop support (up to £150) and Script Development Bursaries (up to £250).
Applicants must be invited to apply through the one to one process.
5. PROJECT HARDSHIP AWARDS
This is a discretionary fund with a rolling deadline specifically to support projects with unique and excellent time-specific opportunities which applicants are unable to take up due to proven hardship (under £500).

Script Assessment, International Festival Attendance and Project Hardship Awards have a rolling deadline. Please be aware that from receipt of a completed application (and all requested enclosures) it can take up to four weeks to notify as to its outcome.
Please also note that we cannot fund retrospective activity - if in doubt check whether it will be possible to process your application before the activity you are applying for is due to commence.
Script development applications must be invited and deadlines will be set on an individual basis.
