Film London and Screen South have created a ground-breaking new partnership, merging their filming services to ensure the region remains one of the very best places in the world to film. This new strategic collaboration aims to assist more domestic and international production, increasing inward investment to London and the South East.
Based out of offices in central London and Pinewood this new Filming Partnership will continue to service all production industries including film, TV, commercials and video games. Its remit encompasses London’s 33 local authorities as well as Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex. It also represents the majority of the country’s major studios including Pinewood, Shepperton, Ealing, 3 Mills and Maidstone.

The long awaited epic, which opened the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, was based at Shepperton and made extensive use of sets at Pinewood Studios, including the underwater stage. Other regional locations included Virginia Water Lake and Lower Bourne woods in Surrey, where the director also shot the opening scenes of Gladiator.
